Mathew Coyte
Rolling Stone Editor-in-Chief

Mathew Coyte is Editor-In-Chief of Australian Rolling Stone. He has a long history in magazines, and music reviewing as well as playing in working Sydney rock band Further for the past 12 years.

"We're excited to see an all female top 100. It doesn't make sense that female artists are under-represented on music lists. Some of the greatest (not to mention highest selling) artists of all time are female," said Mathew.

"We can only assume that these lists are voted by a predominantly male audience, which makes what Hummingbird is doing incredibly refreshing, as it will force the voters to choose from an entirely different pool of artists. I think people will be surprised how easily you can come up with your own all-female top 10 - and how great that list can be. Here's mine;
